I take responsibility of my own professional conduct through knowledge and awareness of this document and the ability to implement it. The expected behaviour and professional expectations as well as the legal requirements of all teachers is what I model my own professional practice on. I believe as a result I display behaviours of fairness, respect, integrity and responsibility consistent with the code of conduct.
This professional conduct provides countless benefits to the teacher, students and their families as well as the school and community. These benefits are reflected through the classroom and school environment, students participation and the outcomes they achieve. I also acknowledge the other documents, legislation and school policies and procedure that inform my teaching practices.
Student reports that I have completed are evidence of my ability to understand and comply with relevant policies, processes and organisational requirements. Throughout preparing this student report, I referred to and followed the schools reporting policy. This is evident through grading, comments and structure of the student report.
